The Library Ghost

The Library Ghost lives in the Department of Information Library, where he eats books at night. He also haunts the map room.

A small white ghost with two black dot eyes peeks over a dark wooden desk with a MAP ROOM placard. Behind him, a pull-down world map hangs below a row of globe lamps, in a dark panelled room.
Peeking over the desk in the map room.

How he’s drawn

  • Shape: a plain white sheet, rounded on top. No arms, no mouth.
  • Eyes: two solid black dots, wide apart.
  • Color: white, with a faint cool blue in the folds of the sheet. He is the brightest thing in the room.
  • Line: the same thin black ink line as Pokey, in the same flat style.
  • Where: the Library and the map room, at night. His rooms are dark: dim, purple-grey panelling, low light.

Give him a face beyond his two eyes, or show him in daylight.

Draft: these two rules are read from the map room drawing and still need sign-off.
